The Holiday:
Four days in beautiful countryside to have fun, make friends, and learn about Jesus. There'll be loads of opportunities to be outdoors, as well as amazing crafts, games, and time together. A great introduction to ventures for 8-12 year olds.
The Location :
Ripon Grammar School is in beautiful Yorkshire and with lots of outdoor space. You will sleep in small, shared dormitories and there is plenty of space both inside and outside to enjoy as we eat, play and do a whole load of activities together.
The Activities and The Programme:
We spend loads of time outdoors doing games, completing challenges, and making friends with teammates. We also do some great crafts, including water rockets, den building, and things to take home. You’ll love our “It’s a wash out” afternoon, with water balloons and surfing the plastic! Most importantly, we’ll be opening up the Bible and finding out about Jesus and how we can be friends with him.
The Team:
The overall leaders are Mark and Jo Anderson and Luke and Fiona Parker. Mark is a Paediatric Consultant in Newcastle. He and Jo have 3 children. Luke is a church minister in Newcastle. Fiona works for Crosslands and they have two little boys. The general leadership team is energetic and enthusiastic, aged 18-50 (-ish).
