About The Leaders:

Casterton One is run by a team of volunteer leaders, from local churches. Their desire is not only to put on a fantastic holiday, but to give 11-14 year olds a brilliant opportunity to hear the message of Jesus clearly taught from the Bible. The Venture is a week to have fun, to learn, and to find out more about Jesus. There are seminars for those who want to think further, and plenty of time to ask questions if you are looking into Christianity for the first time.

Accommodation Type:

A brilliant holiday Casterton gives you a bit of everything. Based in a boarding school (but without the teachers), you'll get sports, crafts, outings and trips, space to relax and loads more.

Activities and Programme:

The week is bursting with outdoor activities: previous years activities have included rock-climbing, canoeing, abseiling, walking, kayaking, mountain biking, archery and more. The week is not just about being active outdoors, you may prefer the indoor games, craft activites, a swimming pool, music, drama or dance workshops.

About Site and Area:

Casterton 1 is surrounded by beautiful countryside. It's about 20 minutes drive from Kendal. The site is amazing. The grounds are superbly looked after and the scenery is breath-taking.
