Oswestry 2 is a friendly Venture! You can learn to canoe, go gorge walking or rock climb in the great outdoors. We make new friends, play sport, create crafts, eat well and relax over games and music. We love welcoming those who've never been on a Venture before. So if you or your mates are new to Ventures (or the Christian faith) do come. Those who come feel at home and countdown to next year!

About The Leaders:

Our leadership team reflects a great mix of personalities and backgrounds - from the quiet to the energetic, from research scientists to youth workers - but all of us are excited about a great week to have fun and find out more about Jesus together.

Accommodation Type:

We stay in a boarding school which has a mixture of bunk and non-bunk beds in shared dormitories of between 2-5 people. There are separate blocks for boys and girls each with plenty of good bathroom facilities close to the dormitories.

Activities and Programme:

Oswestry 2 is a holiday packed full of exciting and sometimes messy activities and games! Gorge walking, canoeing and climbing are just a few of the activities we do at Oswestry 2. There are multiple chances to go swimming, make some craft, and join in with team challenges. We also spend time every day learning what the Bible says about Christianity. We make sure you'll have the chance to look for yourself and have your questions answered.

About Site and Area:

Oswestry School offers plenty of space for relaxing with friends or playing a new game - or, for the more energetic, there's an indoor swimming pool, sports hall, tennis courts and a playing field. We'll also be heading off site to enjoy some of the great outdoor pursuits offered by local Welsh activity centres.
