Formerly an assistant minister in Streatham, Jonny Lee, is now training for ministry at a Bible college in North London. He is married to Katrina, and is dad to Joshua and George. Tom Popplewell, formerly a secondary school teacher, now works for a church in Gateshead. He is married to Cat, and is dad to Ewan. As Jonny is originally from Newcastle, and Tom from Leeds, they both have a heart for the North.
We stay at a fantastic boarding school in the Yorkshire Dales, surrounded by stunning countryside. The school is split into separate boarding houses and other buildings, and these are spread out over an impressive site. There'll be separate guys' and girls' houses. Most rooms have one or two beds in them, and there's plenty of space to make yourself at home! We all eat together in a big dining room where the food's really tasty!
Sedbergh's full of Jesus and adventure! Paintball, Go Ape, caving, watersports, rafting, golf, mountain biking, rock climbing and karting. Loads of Bible, loads of fun, loads of new friends - all set in beautiful Cumbria. As well as daily activities, crafts and time to chill, there's lots of opportunities to hear what God is saying through the Bible, and ask the big questions. It's a great place to hear about Jesus for the first time or to grow deeper in your relationship with Him.
Sedbergh is an epic site for fun, games and chilling. We've got a swimming pool, sports hall, playing field, climbing wall and more on site! Overlooked by dramatic fells, it's an amazing base for adventures in the Dales, and watersports in the Lake District. Getting there is easy too: by car, it's about 10 minutes from junction 37 of the M6, and if you're coming by train we can pick you up from Oxenholme station.
