Oswestry 1 is a holiday full of exciting and sometimes messy activities and games! Gorge walking, climbing, archery, swimming and making some craft are just a few of the activities we do at Oswestry. We also spend time each day learning what the Bible says about Christianity. So if you or your mates are new to Ventures, or the Christian faith, do come - you'll have the chance to look for yourself and have your questions answered.

Matt Lloyd works for a church as the evangalist and has many years of experience teaching youth and organising summer holidays for teenagers.
Our wider leadership team reflects a great mix of personalities and backgrounds - from the quiet to the energetic, from doctors to musicians - but all of us are excited about a great week to have fun and find out more about Jesus together.
We stay in a boarding school which has a mixture of bunk and non-bunk beds in shared dormitories of between 2-5 people. There are separate blocks for boys and girls each with plenty of good bathroom facilities close to the dormitories. The leaders stay in dormitories in close proximity to the teenagers' rooms.
There is plenty of space to chill out other than in dormitories too. The main hall has a sofa area, table tennis table, piano and board games which are available to all.

Oswestry School offers plenty of space for relaxing with friends or playing games - or, for the more energetic, there's a swimming pool, sports hall, tennis courts, playing field and AstroTurf. We'll also head offsite to enjoy some of the great outdoor pursuits offered by a local Welsh activity centre.
Oswestry School is close to Gobowen station and we can collect and drop off teenagers here at the start and end of the holiday.
