We are extremely thankful for the donations we receive from volunteers each year - we know that many of you already give up lots of your time and energy. Your own financial contribution is important too, as it helps us keep the cost of the holidays down, so that more children and young people can afford to come.
Our hope is that all volunteers on Ventures and Falcon Camps would make a donation as close to the brochure price as possible. We know that not all volunteers are able to make a donation of that size personally. So we'd encourage you to approach your friends, family and church to support the life-changing ministry we are operating.
Your church may also be able to support you and the work of Ventures and Falcon Camps. Many churches support people undertaking short term mission and have a budget for this kind of ministry. We have put together two letters to help you approach your church leader for support. There is a a PDF version here which you can simply print off, add your details to by hand, and give to your church leader. There is also a letter in Word which you or your Overall Leader can download and edit - you may like to ask your Overall Leader to write on your behalf.
How you can make a donation
There are a number of ways in which you can make a donation:
- Debit card
- CAF/Stewardship voucher
- Standing order
Donations can be made at any time. Please complete the leaders' donation and gift aid form for donations by cheque, debit card or charity voucher. Alternatively, donate online now! You will need your personal reference number to ensure it's allocated to your Venture - contact the Ventures Office if you're not sure what this is.
If it would help to spread your giving and make donations monthly please complete a standing order form and send that in to us here at the office.
Please do fill in the gift aid section of the forms as it means we can claim an extra 28% on top of your donation amount if you pay income tax.
If you are unable to contribute the full cost of the holiday, please do not let this put you off volunteering! We want you more than we want your money. But please prayerfully consider what you are able to donate (even if it can't be more than the amount you would usually have spent during a normal week at home) and do get your church involved.
