Thank you for volunteering to lead on a Venture or Falcon Camp holiday.

We hope you have a great time. You are one of a huge team of people who enable about 4500 children and young people to meet Jesus Christ, get to know him better and in turn lead others to him on a Venture or Falcon Camp. We are thankful for every volunteer - thank you for all you will bring to the team.

Resources

Our website has a range resources to help you as a volunteer. You'll find expense forms, risk assessment forms and our range of handbooks here.

Each year you should complete a volunteering form, either a New Leaders' Volunteering Form or a Returning Leaders' Volunteering Form and return this to your overall leader (or to the Ventures Office if you're not sure which Venture you'd like to help with). Please do this as soon as possible. All volunteers are also required to complete a CRB check - these are then valid for three years. These forms will be sent to you automatically once you are booked on as a leader, if you need a new check.

Praying

We'd love you to pray for the work of Ventures and Falcon Camps individually, and in your church. You can find some resources to pray for Ventures here.

Make a donation

We're so grateful for the time and energy you have already given to be part of the team. We also ask all volunteers to try and make a donations as close to the brochure price of your holiday as possible. We rely on donations from leaders to enable more children and young people to experience one of our life-changing holidays. We encourage leaders to ask their church to support them, and to ask friends and families to make a donation too. So the donation doesn't just have to come out of your pocket. You can learn more about leaders' donations here.

You can make an online donation to support Ventures and Falcon Camps. To complete this, you'll need your booking reference number, email us if you're not sure what this is. Using this number will ensure your donations is recorded against the holiday on which you are volunteering. There are also other ways of making a donation if you haven't got the reference number.
