At Quantock 3 great activities, chill-out time and unforgettable memories await. Evenings include an informal meeting with an engaging Bible talk, followed by hot chocolate in the café with hilarious daily photo highlights and the legendary 'hero of the day' award. Our family feel means you'll get to know everyone and provides time and space to reflect. A magnificent banquet finishes the week!
Quantock Lodge is a beautiful old Victorian mansion deep in the woods, backing onto the Quantock Hills. The extensive site includes a big heated swimming pool, a games room, large sports hall and sports field. There is even a landscaped garden with resident peacocks!
We stay at a former boarding school in the style of Hogwarts enjoying comfortable dormitory style accommodation. Alongside the main Victorian mansion, the site has more modern buildings also used for accommodation. Each room sleeps 3-6 people from the same dorm group and leaders' rooms are just along the corridors. All rooms are close to toilets, showers and bathrooms.
The Programme and The Team:
We're planning a host of fantastic activities and games on site, so bring energy, creativity and teamwork! There'll also be time to relax and enjoy simply being together, after a year which made that so difficult. Our family feel means you'll soon get to know everyone whether you’ve come with a friend or not. Evenings include an informal meeting with engaging Bible talk and singing, followed by hot chocolate in the café with hilarious daily photo highlights and the legendary 'hero of the day' award. A magnificent banquet on the last night finishes our week of unforgettable memories. Our leaders are committed Christians and drawn from all walks of life such as teachers, nurses, church workers and students. Normally they’re involved in serving at the church they attend. Most have been leaders Quantock 3 previously - some even first came as members in their teens! All are fully trained for the activities they run and all come with an enhanced DBS (CRB) disclosure and careful referencing.
