Gorge walking, climbing and archery are a few of the activities we offer. We also have (sometimes messy) team games and times to chill over a card game, at the piano or in the pool. Each day we spend time learning what the Bible says about Christianity. If you or your mates are new to Ventures or the Christian faith, do come - you'll have the chance to find out more and ask any questions you have.

Matt Lloyd, Rich Powell and Tom Dowding are both in full time ministry and they have many years of experience organising summer holidays for teenagers and teaching youth.
Our wider leadership team reflects a great mix of personalities and backgrounds - from the quiet to the energetic, from an app developer to a musician - and all of us are excited about a great week to have fun and find out more about Jesus together.
We stay in a boarding school in dormitories between 2-5 people. There are separate blocks for boys and girls, each with plenty of good bathroom facilities close to the dormitories. The leaders stay in dormitories near the teenagers' rooms.
There is plenty of space to chill out other than in dormitories too. The main hall has a sofa area, table tennis table, piano and board games which are available to all.
Oswestry 1 is full of exciting and sometimes messy activities! We go off-site for activities such as gorge walking, canoeing, climbing and archery and onsite we offer swimming, craft and a chance to learn new skills. Every day we spend time learning what the Bible says about Christianity. If you or your mates are new to Ventures or the Christian faith do come! You'll have the chance to find out more and ask any questions.
Oswestry School offers plenty of space for relaxing with friends or playing game. Or, for the more energetic, there's a swimming pool, sports hall, tennis courts, playing field and AstroTurf. We'll also head off-site to enjoy some of the great outdoor pursuits offered by a local Welsh activity centre.
Oswestry School is close to Gobowen station and we can collect and drop off teenagers here at the start and end of the holiday.
