Join us at Sedbergh as we dig into the Bible together, enjoy the fun of speeding round the go-karting track, swinging through the trees as we Go Ape, or splashing through the water in gorge walking. With time to chill out together, ask big questions about faith, and eat incredible food, Sedbergh is the place to be this summer. A week of fun, adventure, and Jesus. The only thing missing is you!

Having recently finished Bible college, Jonny Lee is a curate (trainee minister) for a church in Preston. He is married to Katrina and is dad to Joshua, George and Abigail. As well as loving massive cups of Yorkshire Tea, Jonny is a keen rock climber and loves spending a week in the summer at Sedbergh Venture.
Carl Brooks-Plunkett works for a church in Chapeltown, Sheffield, as a Youth and Families Minister. Carl loves being involved in Sedbergh Venture and looks forward to it all year round. Running, dancing and Yorkshire Tea are some of his favourite things. But most of all, he loves finding out more about Jesus and what it means to follow Him.
We stay at Sedbergh boarding school in the stunning Cumbrian Countryside. Sedbergh is an impressive site that spreads throughout the quiet village. We have separate guys' and girls' dorm houses, and most rooms have one or two beds in. There is plenty of space to make yourself at home and to enjoy the dramatic surroundings. We come together each day to eat our meals in the main dining room, where our fantastic cooks team mix up a phenomenal feast.
We have tons of different actitivties that you can chose from at Sedbergh. You can enjoy the sights whilst swinging through the trees at Go Ape or mountain biking through the hills. There are opportunities to explore underground caves, to speed round karting tracks, scale the tallest rocks of the Yorkshire Dales and test your Robin Hood archery skills. If that's not enough, we also have daily activities, crafts, swims and time to chill out. You will make new friends, catch up with old ones and spend the week finding out more about Jesus. Whether you know lots about Jesus, or nothing at all, Sedbergh is the place to be this summer.
With an on-site swimming pool and sports hall, numerous playing fields, and dramatic scenery, the great facilities at Sedbergh make it a brilliant site for all the fun and games that we have planned. Surrounded by the Dales and a short distance from the Lake District, Sedbergh is an amazing base for adventure, whether that be water sports on a nearby lake or trips into Kendal. Getting to Sedbergh is really easy too. It is a (roughly) 10-minute drive from Junction 37 of the M6, and if you're coming by train we can pick you up from Oxenholme.
