Sadly, this residential holiday has been cancelled. We are planning to run some Virtual Ventures instead - check out our promo video here!

Three days to have loads of fun, make new friends (and catch up with old ones) and learn what it means to follow Jesus. There will be crafts, games, plenty of time outside whatever the weather - and time to think and reflect on who Jesus is. You will be made very welcome whether you come on your own or with friends. A great introduction to Venture holidays!

    About The Leaders:

Mark and Jo Anderson live in Newcastle upon Tyne where Mark is a paediatrician at the Children's Hospital. They have three children: Ben (17), Georgina (15) and Florence (6).
Luke Parker lives in Newcastle upon Tyne with his wife, Fiona. Luke works for Christ Church Newcastle as a Minister in Training. Fiona works at the University.

    Accommodation Type:

We have a fantastic boarding school site with loads of outside space and plenty of space inside to relax together and play games. We will be sleeping in small dormitories with leaders nearby.

    Activities and Programme:

A typical day includes a main meeting where we sing songs, enjoy the leaders entertaining us and hear a talk about Jesus. There are activities each morning which include crafting fun things to take home, or building things together and launching our homemade rockets. Afternoons are spent with group activities that have included den-building, water balloon catapults and fire-making in the past. And we have plenty of time in our small groups with our leaders to get to know each other.
