With little outside world distractions this unique canvas venture is a great way to get nearer to God. Cricceith Camp gives young people the chance to have a go at abseiling, archery, hill walking, canoeing, mountain walking, music, sea swimming and worship.
This really is camping made easy, with large ridge tents with camping beds already pitched and waiting for you on arrival. On site we have portable loos, a shower block and a staffed kitchen where meals are prepared. Come and join us in 2020!

Our leaders are from a range of backgrounds. Some of our leaders are students while some take the time at camp as their annual leave from work. Many of our leaders were once young people on our camp. We all try to meet up a couple of times through the year as those 9 days at camp have just as much influence on our lives as we hope they do on your lives. Come and join us!
We sleep in large, canvas ridge tents on sturdy camp beds and sleeping mats. We aim to put a group of 5 or 6 campers in each tent with two leaders. We take ages and friendships into consideration when organising the groups.
We eat our meals in a big marquee but we have a fully plumbed shower block with hot water available at all times and flushing portable toilets. Our meals are cooked in a purpose built cook house.
We run a busy programme that comprises field games, outings, mountain walking (we are lucky enough to be able to offer a walk up Mount Snowdon), water sports, archery, mountain boarding, rock climbing, football, pitch and putt, leisure centre and beach activties. There is however, always the option of a stroll into the village for an icecream or just sunbathing on the field.
We have a beautiful, secluded field in the seaside town of Criccieth, North Wales. The field is large enough for us to have a 5-a-side football pitch, volley ball court, basketball nets and cricket available at all times. We make use of our surrounding beaches, the town of Porthmadog and the Snowdonia mountain range.
