The Holiday:
Ledbury Venture is an exciting week, each day is an adventure. You will make lifelong friends and memories you’ll never forget. We spend a day Alton Towers. Enjoy a BBQ together. There is a Ball with a delicious three course meal and silent disco.
Each day is centred with Jesus, with daily worship. We spend time in creative worship and prayer. We love creating spaces where you can get into life with Jesus.
We play volleyball, Danish longball and more.
The Location :
Our Venture is based at a centre for large Christian houseparties with dormitory style
accommodation.
Our experienced kitchen caters to various dietary preferences throughout the week.
We are close to the amazing location of Ledbury. The venue itself has acres of land for all our
activities including a fire pit! It also has lots of indoor space such as a sports hall, cinema room
and areas to chill out in. Ledbury is easily accessible by car or train.
The Activities and The Programme:
We spend a day Alton Towers enjoying time together, whether that is hanging out having fun or
enjoying the rides, eating all the sweets we can find. We throw a themed BBQ relaxing together
playing games and enjoying the summer sun. There is a Ball where we dress up and have a ‘night
out’ with a delicious three course meal and silent disco with three DJ’s.
Each day is centred around times with Jesus, with daily worship meetings, group discussions and
personal reflection. We spend time in creative worship and prayer to grow deeper in our faith. Our
team love creating spaces where you can get into life with Jesus and explore life’s tough questions
in a supportive setting.
On the acres of land at our venue, we play volleyball, Danish longball and other games. While
inside we’ll have cosy spaces where you can read, play board games and unwind. We even host an
amazing quiz and cinema night.
The Team:
We have a fantastic team of dedicated and enthusiastic leaders. We range from youth workers to teachers to medics and students. We come from a variety of church backgrounds and are passionate about encouraging young people to explore their faith and grow in what is means to follow Jesus. Many of the leaders came on Ventures as youth and just don't want to leave!
