The Holiday:
Get ready for an unforgettable summer in the heart of beautiful Dorset! Quantock is a week packed with fun, laughter, and the chance to reconnect with old friends - and make loads of new ones. From epic games and sports to chilling in the craft room or pool, there’s something for everyone. Best of all, you’ll also get the chance to get to know God better as we look at His word and meet Jesus in it. Don’t miss out - this is the week you’ll be talking about all year!
The Location :
Quantock Venture is based at Leweston School in the Dorset countryside. This boarding school has excellent facilities including state of the art boarding houses, acres of sports fields, a swimming pool, a theatre, tennis courts and much more! The school cater for us and their food is incredible, with something for everyone.
The Activities and The Programme:
There’s never a dull moment at camp! Whether you’re into fast-paced games like laser tag, football, or dodgeball, or prefer chilling out with tie-dye, scrunchie-making, or arts and crafts, there’s something for everyone. You can jump into swimming, volleyball, or even a game of water polo - or try out some of our creative (and slightly chaotic) lawn games and card games like Mafia. Our morning and evening sessions dig into the Bible in a fresh and relevant way, helping us explore who God is and what that means for us today. And to top it all off, we’ll head out on a surprise day trip for some epic fun and adventure. Whatever you’re into, camp is all about good vibes, new friends, and unforgettable memories!
The Team:
Our Leaders come from churches all over the country and give up their week to come and teach, serve and get to know our members on camp. They are all trained and supported by CPAS and have experience of working with young people. Young people are put into a small group, or ‘dorm’ where they can get focused support from a small number of Leaders. We also have an excellent team of Assistant Leaders who help out with the practical tasks on camp. All our Leaders are here to make sure you have the best possible holiday and can explore the claims of Christianity in a safe and pressure-free environment.
