The Holiday:
Sizewell, a beachfront location where, we meet with God, make friends for life and have a really good laugh! Its is an awe-inspiring experience for those who want to learn about and grow in their relationship with God and have a huge amount of fun in a welcoming and beautiful place by the sea. We have an amazing range of activities, whatever the ability! It’s a safe place to explore your faith in a place where the sun shines, sea glistens and great friends are made for life.
The Location :
Sizewell Hall lies just meters from the beach, on the idyllic Suffolk coast, just north of Ipswich. The food is delicious, the weather is great and the beach is an extension of our home. The hall has plenty of facilities and hot showers and each bedroom sleeps 2-5 people. No canvas or bunk beds here! So come and join us this summer in our manor house by the sea!
The Activities and The Programme:
Sizewell Hall, our home for the week, is a large manor house overlooking the beach. From the moment you arrive and drive up the long gravel drive you'll know this is a special place. Check it out at www.sizewellhall.org.uk. There’s loads to choose from: sports, crafts, water games, midweek banquet, home cinema and free time to just sit and chat or sunbathe. That is in addition to the time that we spend worshipping God and learning to be disciples. We go off site some afternoons, in the past we’ve been boating, swimming at Southwold, bowling, maize maze and we have lots in store for this year. (There are optional activities to take part in which are charged in addition to the holiday price.) You won’t be bored! You might also want to make use of the onsite shop so bring some spending money. The only thing you have to organise is getting to Sizewell but there is Saxmundham train station nearby which we can pick you up from.
The Team:
The leaders come from all walks of life and are all strong Christians who are active members of their own churches. Our leaders vary in age from 22 to over 60! All give their time to Sizewell as they want others to grow in their love of Christ. Some leaders are a bit mad, others are calmer but we are sure you’ll connect with us.
