The Holiday:
Woolhampton 1 is the holiday of a lifetime! We are here to offer you an action packed, fun filled time, where you’ll have the chance to meet the Lord Jesus through the Bible. There will be more laughing, crafting, playing, eating, chilling and chatting than seems possible in one week. Woolie 1 is the place to be!
We partner with six different churches, where the majority of our members come from. If you are not from a partner church, please email our Bookings Contact before trying to book on.
The Location :
Woolie 1 takes place at Elstree School which is located in the small village of Woolhampton not too far from Reading. It is an excellent boarding school, converted from a country manor and we are able to make use of all their facilities: sports hall, outdoor swimming pool and fantastic grounds!
The Activities and The Programme:
Along with the wide game, swimming, arts and crafts, the world famous “IT’S A WASHOUT”, a theme park visit, drama, tuck shop, human battleships, surf the plastic, and so much more…you get to have the best holiday of your life!
Woolhampton 1 will also be a great chance to hear about Jesus Christ from the Bible, so find out what he wants to say to you and why we think he’s so amazing. There’ll be loads of time to ask any questions you’ve got as well. This is a real highlight for lots of people, for those who’d call themselves Christians or not.
The Team:
Most of our leaders come from one of our partner churches, so if you come from one of those churches, you will likely already know many of our leaders. They are really looking forward to meeting you and making sure you have the holiday of your life! Alongside the main leading team, we also have a team of cooks, assistant leaders, and family members who all make sure camp is BRILLIANT! All Leaders will have been safety recruited, DBS checked and received safeguarding training.
