The Holiday:
Whether it’s swimming in the pool, playing sports, being creative in the craft room, or enjoying evening entertainment- there’s something for everyone at Lakeview Senior. At the heart of the week are daily talks exploring aspects of Christianity. We’d love you to come and, it's a great holiday to bring a friend to!
The Location :
Royal Alexandra and Albert School with its three lakes, serpentine and 260 acres of parkland provides the ideal setting for our Venture. Just off the M25, the school has its own indoor swimming pool as well as grass pitches, netball courts, astroturf pitch and performing arts centre. It should be an amazing week for all! We stay in boarding houses in dormitories between 2-8 people. There are separate blocks for boys and girls, each with plenty of good bathroom facilities close to the dormitories. The leaders stay in dormitories near the teenagers' rooms and there is space to chill out other than in dormitories too.
The Activities and The Programme:
Days are usually spent on-site making the most of the excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, big fields and a craft room. We have lots of exciting things planned to make use of the amazing grounds such as (sometimes messy) team games, time to chill, baking and board games. We’ll also head off site on a couple of days making the most of the fun things in the local area.
The Team:
Our Overall Leaders have many years' experience organising Lakeview and our wider leadership team reflects a great mix of personalities and professions many of whom started coming along to Lakeview as teenagers and have loved it so much they’ve kept coming back! We also have a great team of assistant leaders who support in all kinds of things and train up to be our leaders of the future. All of us are excited about a great week to have fun and find out more about Jesus together.
